OCRS sprint cars invade the quick quarter mile this Saturday night!! The first of two visits by the winged warriors is fast approaching, we are expecting great weather for the event, and these events have been hampered over the years with rain outs, this year it doesn’t look like a problem with the first show anyway!! We are expecting a large field of sprint cars along with our support classes…
The weekly racing continues in action with four classes. Headlining the regular program will be the B-Mods, Pure Stocks, Turf Cars, and Factory Stocks. B-Mods and Factory stocks will race for a $300 top prize and $25 to start the Pure Stocks will pay $200 to win and $30 to start while Turf Cars will also race for $200 to win and $25 to start.... Pit and grandstand gates will open at 5 p.m. with hot laps slated for 7:00 and racing action to kick off 7:30 p.m.(CVS DIRTcar super latemodels return next week for point race #4)
Adult ticket prices are just $12, seniors are $5, kids are ages 9 - 12 are $5, ages 8 and under are FREE with a paid adult admission. Pit passes will be $25. Driver of the week this week is pure stock #13 Janie Haney and special guest #88 OCRS sprint car driver Shayla Waddell they will have their cars on display behind the main grandstand from 6:00 – 7:00 signing free photos!!
