CVS RACE info Sat June 9 , 2012
The weekly racing continues in action with four classes. Headlining the regular program will be the CVS DIRTcar super latemodels, USRA B-Mods, Pure Stocks, Turf Cars, and Factory Stocks.DIRTcar latemodels pay $700 to win and $100 to start the A main,USRA B-Mods and Factory stocks will race for a $300 top prize and $25 to start the Pure Stocks will pay $200 to win and $25 to start while Turf Cars will also race for $200 to win and $25 to start.... Pit and grandstand gates will open at 5 p.m. with hot laps slated for 7:00 and racing action to kick off 7:30 p.m
Adult ticket prices are just $8, seniors are $5, kids 12 and under are FREE with a paid adult admission. Pit passes will be $25. Driver pit passes will be $30 with $5 from each pass going towards that class's year-end awards banquet.... for more info online go to.... www.caneyvalleyspeedway.net
Driver of the week this week is Turf car #35 Kevin Folk his car will be on display behind the main grandstand from 6:00 – 7:00 signing free photos!!

Rookie gets CVS DIRTcar win
Levi Mcgowen hails from Humboldt Kansas and has been racing since his teenage years, he has raced many classes of stock cars over the years and won alot of races in each division but for the 2012 season he made a major jump from the B-mod class to the CVS DIRTcar super latemodel division, it took only three weeks for the latemodel rookie to put his Mastersbilt chassis in victory lane,Mcgowen battled Joe Gorby 9 for the first three laps before contact with the wall sent Gorby to the back of the field, on the restart Mcgowen started from the lead and was never challenged in the 20 lap A main....84 cars packed the pit area and a full grandstand combined with great track condition and cool weather made for a great night of racing, racing continues this Saturday night June 9 th with action in the CVS DIRTcar super latemodels, USRA b-mods, factory stocks , pure stocks and turf cars,all info can be found at www.caneyvalleyspeedway.net
