CVS RACE info Sat June 16, 2012
The weekly racing continues in action with four classes. Headlining the regular program will be the CVS DIRTcar super latemodels, USRA B-Mods, Pure Stocks, Turf Cars, and Factory Stocks.DIRTcar latemodels pay $700 to win and $100 to start the A main,USRA B-Mods and Factory stocks will race for a $300 top prize and $25 to start the Pure Stocks will pay $200 to win and $25 to start while Turf Cars will also race for $200 to win and $25 to start.... Pit and grandstand gates will open at 5 p.m. with hot laps slated for 7:00 and racing action to kick off 7:30 p.m
We will be taking SUMMER BREAK next weekend at CVS….NO RACES next weekend…We return on June 30th with the ASCS sooner region sprint cars
Fathers day give aways!!!!!!!!!!! A special gift for the first 100 dads through the gate Sat night!!! Also all dads in attendance can sign up for a big prize to be given away at intermission…sign up right inside the gate at the FMD graphics booth and see what the prizes are this year!!

Driver of the week this week is CVS DIRTcar super latemodel driver 89 Levi Mcgowen his car will be on display behind the main grandstand from 6:00 – 7:00 signing free photos!!

Wells makes trip worth his drive!
Justin Wells made his first visit to CVS last Saturday night and claimed the A feature win, Wells hails from Crane Missouri and made the long drive worth it by not only winning the $700.00 but also gaining valuable DIRTcar points for the regional and national point standings, Brad Looney of Republic Missouri made the choice to take the front to the back challenge, He gave up his front row starting spot and elected start in the last row in hope of taking home the $300.00 bonus….after 25 laps with no yellow flags Looney was only able to make it up to third, again this week the CVS DIRTcar latemodels take to the fast Ľ mile Saturday night we are expecting another great field of cars this week!!
87 Leon Plisek won his first ever A feature win just one week after flipping his turf car and escaping fire after the crash,77 Jason Wayne won his first ever CVS A feature last weekend in the factory stock division giving us 5 different winners in 6 weeks of racing,Tyler Kidwell continued his domination of the pure stock class, this time he took the “KID SKID” show on the road to CVS, he has won multiple A features this season at several four state area tracks, USRA b-mods saw a different winner Saturday night as Chanute Kansas driver 01 Jimmie Davis took the general Lee to the front to score his second win at CVS this season… See everyone this Saturday night at Caney Valley Speedway!!! |
