2010 Street Stocks

1. CAR: Any American made 2-wheel drive, rear wheel drive, front engine car. 101" minimum wheelbase. Wheelbase must match year and make of car. Stock frames, front to rear. No trucks, convertibles or station wagons.101" cars must remain stock on 3 link and panhard bar.

2. ENGINE: Must have V-8 style engine, OEM size and configuration. #1 plug in line with upper ball joint. Must be same brand as frame and engine. OEM cast iron heads. After market heads allowed. Vortec Heads allowed.. Steel block and heads only. Aluminum pulleys permitted. Aftermarket power steering pump OK. Aluminum radiator OK. No dry sump oiling system allowed. Aftermarket blocks permitted.

3. CARBURETOR: 4-barrel, double pumpers. Maximum of one 2-barrel or one 4-barrel allowed. No fuel injection.

4. IGNITION: HEI, MSD permitted. Rev chip permitted. No magneto's. No crank triggered ignitions.

5. INTAKE: Any intake permitted.

6. TRANSMISSION: OEM original 3 or 4 speed cast iron manual transmission or automatic. Must have forward & reverse gears. Berts or Brinns ,falcons ok

7. CLUTCH: May run mini clutch. Explosion proof bellhousing with minimum 1/4" thickness required.

8. DRIVESHAFT: Must be painted white, with loop within 1 foot of transmission. Must be steel. Minimum of 2 1/2" diameter. No aluminum drive shafts.

9. REAR END: No independent rear suspension. No 3/4 ton or quick change rear ends. OEM 9" housing with floater style hubs allowed. No wide five hubs. No Detroit lockers. Gears may be locked.

10. BODY: Stock appearing OEM style bodies. Fenders, doors and quarters may be replaced with steel or aluminum but must look stock. Cars can be gutted may cut fender wells, but must have firewall between driver and rear tires. Plastic nose o.k. No wedge noses. 8" spoiler allowed, side braces 18" long maximum and must be triangular in shape. Spoilers must not be any wider than rear quarter panels. Performance Bodies reproduction body panels are allowed.

11. TIRES & WHEELS: Asphalt take-offs. Modified G-60 permitted. Grooving allowed. 10" maximum tire. Beadlocks permitted on right side. Steel wheels with minimum 1" OD lug nuts. Asphalt take-offs 10" wheels only. No wide 5 hubs or wheels. American Racer KK-704 permitted.tires must durmometer 45 or harder after A feature.

12. BATTERY: May be moved and must be securely mounted. If in driver's compartment, must be totally encased. One 12 volt.

13. BUMPERS: 1 1/2" tube bumper allowed. 1 1/2" nerf bars or rub rails OK. No sharp edges. Ends of bumbers must remain inside of body.

14. WEIGHT: Minimum weight is 3,000 lbs. with driver after race. Added weight must be attached with clamp, painted white and marked clearly with car number. All attached weight must be attached with weight clamps by two 1/2" bolts in each piece.

15. BRAKES: Dual master cylinders are allowed. Disk brakes allowed on rear. All 4 brakes must work. Right front shut-offs permitted.

16. STEERING: Quick steer permitted. Quick disconnect permitted. Drag link and tie-rods and tie rod ends must be stock OEM. No rack and pinion allow.

17. SUSPENSION: Stock OEM suspension front and rear. Exception after market upper A-arm allowed but must fit factory mounts. Everything must remain in stock location. Spring buckets permitted. No multi-hole brackets. Adjustable spring spacers permitted. WEIGHT JACKS ALLOWED.. No independent rear suspension. Minimum spring diameter 5". No after market Lower A frames. No pull bars or torque devices. No j-bars, no panhard bars of any kind. Trailing arms must remain stock appearing. Bottom trailing arm mount on rear axle may be no more than 4" from bottom of axle housing to center of bolt. Upper trailing arm mount may be no more than 3" from housing to center of bolt.

18. SHOCKS: One shock per wheel. No coilovers. No load levelers. Steel body racing shocks allowed with heim, welded bearing ends permitted. No aluminum shocks. MOUNTING MAY BE CHANGED DUE TO WEIGHT JACKS ALLOWED.

19. FUEL: Pump gas or racing gas only. alcohol ok. Maximum 22 gallons, securely mounted fuel cell required, with outer shell. Maximum 32-gallon enclosed in 20-guage steel contailer.

20. ROLL CAGE: Six (6) point minimum cage with X-brace. Minimum .095 X 1 1/2" tubing. May have a front and rear loop.

21. TRACTION CONTROL: No traction control devices or adjustable timing devices of any kind allowed.

22. SAFETY: Minimum 5 point safety harness, no more than 2 years old. Safety harness must be securely mounted to the frame with a min of 1/2" bolts in a way such as the belts will not be cut by sharp edges. Must have high back racing seat made of min. .125 aluminum, no fiberglass seats. Seat must be securely mounted to the frame and/or roll cage. Must have working fire extinguisher mounted securely within easy reach of driver. Must have window net mounted in such a way as driver can fasten and unfasten while buckled in. Must have kill switch mounted directly behind driver that shuts all electricity off and must be clearly marked ON/OFF.
