USL Sprints headline Caney Valley Speedway program Saturday
By John Rittenoure - CANEY, Kans. (May 4, 2026) - United Sprint League non-wing sprint cars will highlight night two of the 2026 season at Caney Valley Speedway on Saturday.
Factory Stocks, Pure Stocks, Intercepters and non-sanctioned B-Mods will race on the program with USL Sprints.
Last season the USL sprints made one appearance at Caney and Ty Hulsey came away with a victory. The USL held their season opener at Enid Speedway on April 11 and defending champion Tanner Conn of Oklahoma City held off fast closing and past champion Brett Wilson of Mannford for the victory. Saturday’s program will be the first of three visits planned for Caney Valley Speedway this season.
Point racing resumes for the regular classes. Nick Artherton leads the Factory Stocks after his victory last week. Bryson Fulton will be looking to repeat in Pure Stocks and Hank Owens topped Interceptors last week. Matthew Key captured the season opening B-Mod feature.
Gates open at 3 p.m. Saturday. Hot Laps are slated for 5:30 with racing firing off at 6.
Adult general admission is $15, seniors and children 5-12 $5. Kids 4 and under are FREE. Pit passes are $35.
